SOUTH PARIS — Yvonne L. Davis, 83, of Fryeburg, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris.

Yvonne was born in South Paris on Sept. 29, 1932, a daughter of William H. and Christine (Vallee) Ryerson and attended South Paris Schools. She worked at Northland Shoe for many years and also was a maid at the Green Granite Inn in North Conway, N.H.

She married Millard Davis on October 9, 1948.

She was a member of the Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church in Fryeburg and loved visiting friends and family, playing cards and canning. In her younger years she enjoyed camping. For a few years, she and her husband wintered in Florida with her sister, Aline.

Surviving are her husband of Fryeburg; sons, Millard S. Davis Jr. of Fryeburg, Joseph and his wife, Darilyn of Solon, and George and his wife, Diana of Stow; a daughter, Yvonne Davis of Fryeburg; her sister, Aline Davis and her husband, Larry of Limington; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Yvonne was predeceased by four brothers, Lawrence, Frank, Richard and John; and three half-brothers, Clarence Grover, Patrick Ryerson, and Carleton Ryerson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at the Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church in Fryeburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yvonne’s memory may be made to the Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church, 454 McNeil Rd., Fryeburg, ME 04037.
