Afro-Solo-Man, 7:30 p.m. at Denmark Arts Center, $15 suggested admission. Artists in residence Ricarrdo Valentine and Orlando Hunter of Brother(hood) Dance present a multimedia performance that incorporates dance, storytelling, music and video projection to explore the artists’ African-American ancestry.

Saturday, August 27

Nevaeh Dance Circus presents “Into the Blue” in the brick square located in downtown Norway. (Rain location is Norway Legion Hall.) Ragtime Johnny and the Hooch kick off the evening at 6 p.m. alongside of children’s activities such as face painting, a photo booth, pinata and more. The main performance takes place at 7 p.m. with aerialists Kat Fink and Iggy Parker of Circus Maine. The event is free but donations are warmly accepted and a Go Fund Me page is set up at

Denmark Arts Center presents the MaryShelleyShow at 7:30 p.m. with a suggested $15 admission. New York actresses bring their wild ride of a play for your entertainment. Follow two teenagers as they struggle with friendship, loneliness and historical importance, all while hosting their own variety show. This will delight audiences of all ages.
