SANFORD — Yvette Rita (Dupuy) Daigle, 83, of Sanford, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Yvette was born and raised in Sanford, the daughter of Arthur and Annette (Berard) Dupuy.

She enjoyed cooking, knitting and sewing, and was a devoted wife and mother. She took great pride in her home and family.

Yvette is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Norman S. Daigle. They were married in Sanford on Sept. 26, 1953.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna Rhine of Sanford; her sons, Daniel Daigle of Springvale and James Daigle of Casco; and four grandchildren.

Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Annette Dupuy; brother, Jean Paul (Jay) Dupuy of California; and sister, Carmen Provencher of Sanford.

Visitation was held at Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford, on Monday, May 22, beginning at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, at 10 a.m. Burial followed at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
