NAPLES — Wendy L. Aiken, 60, of Sebago Road, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016.

The daughter of Edward J. Eggert and Nancy E. Eggert, she was born in Stamford, Conn. moving to Maine in her teenage years.

Wendy spent countless hours volunteering with many local food pantries, lunch programs for kids, church activities including music and outreach, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Wendy is survived by her husband, David Aiken of Naples; son, Matthew Dyer of Bryant Pond; daughters, Holly Oertel of Buxton and Heidi Dyer of Naples; five grandchildren; brother, Thomas Eggert of Kingston, Ariz.; sisters, Dale Robinson and of East Machias and Gigi Dubey of Hampden; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation to celebrate Wendy’s life was held on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the United Methodist Church of Good Fellowship at Naples Green, Route 302 in Naples. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhome.net
