Terry R. Boissonneau

HARRISON — Terry R. Boissonneau, 72, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017, at the Maine Veterans' Home in South Paris.

He was born July 3, 1945, in Westbrook, the son of Roland and Lois (Pratt) Boissonneau.

Terry attended and graduated from Westbrook High School. After graduation Terry served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965–1967, and was stationed at An Khe Army Airfield, near Pleiku, Vietnam. In 1979 he married Lorraine Dunham. Together they loved traveling, canoeing and camping. He worked for the Portland Press Herald as a photo engraver for more than 40 years until his retirement.

In 2010, Terry was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and, in 2015, moved into the Maine Veterans' Home located in South Paris. He was known for his good nature, generosity, and quiet sense of humor.

Terry is survived by his wife Lorraine; his stepson and his wife, Scott and Khue Dunham of South Portland; his stepdaughter and her husband, Julie and Eric Jones of Shorewood, Ill.; his stepdaughter Jill Morton of Bridgton; his sister and her husband, Ann and Tom Cross of Westbrook; grandchildren Kristina and Ryan Morton, as well as Jack, Henry and Will Jones. Terry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. The family would like to thank the staff at the South Paris Maine Veterans' Home who helped Terry spend the last few years of his life with dignity and pride as he fought a brave battle against Parkinson's.
