TURNER — Terrence Davis Allen, 63, a resident of County Road, Turner, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 21, at his home.

He was born May 1, 1948, in Bridgton, the son of Milton and Diana (Davis) Allen. Terry attended school in Bridgton. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1971.

On Oct. 22, 1988, in Bridgton, he married Gail M. Whitehouse. Terrence worked through the years as a laborer in the construction trade. Terry was a member of the American Legion in Caribou. He enjoyed working on old cars, flea markets and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Allen of Turner; his daughters, Loretta Proctor, of Poland and Didi Bennett of Windham; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Milton Allen of Caribou; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two sons, Kason Andrew Allen and Robert Charles Allen.

A funeral service with Military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta. Interment at Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Augusta.
