Talline V. Brewster, 71, passed away at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was born in Caribou, on Dec. 20, 1947. She graduated from Bay State Academy in Boston, Mass., in 1967, and was recognized for her great love of English grammar. She worked at Aetna Insurance Co. as an underwriter.

She fought the Muscular Dystrophy battle for many years and made the best of her life by enjoying creative writing and reading. Her intelligence and dry wit will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sister, Rhonda Forbes; and mother, Doris Grass of Windham.

Talline’s father, Eugene Grass, died in April 2001.

A burial ceremony attended by friends and family was held for Talline on Nov. 19, at Murch Cemetery in South Casco.
