Shirley Thibeault, 68

RAYMOND — Shirley Thibeault, 68, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, surrounded by her family after a long illness.

She was born in Rumford on Sept. 21, 1944 to William Cormier and Edna Dixon, whom are both deceased.

She lived in Raymond, where she married her sweetheart in 1985. She was a graduate of nursing in July 1986, where she spent most of her career.

Her true passion in life was her husband Stephen W. Thibeault, her two dogs and her children. She enjoyed her sewing, quilting, crochet and knitting. For years, she enjoyed camping and cooking for her family. She could display a Christmas village that drew in many people each year.

In Raymond, she leaves behind her husband of 26 years, Stephen Thibeault; her daughter, TraciAnn Keim of Buxton; and five sons, Andrew Michaud Jr. of Auburn, William Michaud of Jay, John Michaud of Lewiston, Michael Michaud of Idaho and Robert Michaud of Lewiston; her two half-sisters Sally Campbell of Mexico and Barbie Duguay of Westbrook; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life was held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Hall Funeral Home at 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco, from 6 to 8 p.m. The graveside memorial will be held in the spring with a date to be determined. Condolences may be expressed at the Hall Funeral home in Casco.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Androscoggin Bank for the Thibeault Fund.
