Sarah L. Albert

Sarah Albert

Sarah joined her heavenly family at 6:19 a.m. on October 18, 2023. Sarah was with her son,

surrounded by love and went peacefully to join her parents, grand daughter, two sisters and one brother in the eternal kingdom.

Sarah spent her life in the service of others, beginning with her time at Mattanawcook Academy, helping to raise her big family and care for her ill parents in her home town of Millinocket. She then worked as a CNA for almost 30 years caring for the elderly in their
time of need. Sarah was loved by all of her patients for her giant smile and hilarious sense of humor.

In life, Sarah was a force of love, empathy and strength. Kindness exuded from her and her fierceness was felt by all who knew her. Sarah faced cancer and won three times and lived through tragedy after tragedy, never letting a bit of it show. When the time came, she exited this planet on her own terms, her last breath rising with the sun and streaking the sky with fire. Sarah’s loss will be felt for generations to come.

Sarah is survived by her four children, 16 grandchildren, five siblings, and her life partner, Daniel Boucher.

A private, graveside service will be held in the coming weeks with a memorial get together to follow. Details to be announced at a later date.
