FRYEBURG — Ronald N. Essmann, 78, of Fryeburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, Dec. 21, 2014, at the Hospice House in Auburn, with his loving partner, Mona, by his side.
He was born on April 11, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Ulrich and Anastasia "Binovsky" Essmann.
He attended Marquette University, and he was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps. In 2004, Ron moved to Maine from New Port Richey, Florida. Ron was self-employed most of his adult life. He enjoyed golfing and time spent with his precious dogs, Ginger and Jackson.
He is survived by his partner, Mona Bachmann, of Fryeburg. He was predeceased by his parents, Ulrich and Anastasia Essmann, and his brother Ulrich Essmann Jr.
