Ronald Irish Jr.

SEBAGO — Ronald F. Irish Jr., 49, of Sebago, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, with his family and friends at his bedside.

Ron was born Sept. 28, 1966, in Peterborough, N.H. He attended schools in Rindge and Jaffrey, N.H. Ron worked in the family business, Irish Well Drilling, Inc., for the past 28 years, drilling wells and installing pumps all over Western Maine and Eastern New Hampshire. He enjoyed hunting and especially fishing with his daughter, Sarah. He also loved riding his Harley motorcycle with his many friends.

Ron is survived by his beloved daughter Sarah H. Irish of S. Hiram; his stepsons David and Michael Bragdon of S. Hiram; his mother Linda Oja and her husband Bob of Rindge, N.H.; his father Ronald F. Irish Sr. and his wife Teresa of Sebago; his maternal grandmother Ernestina Andrews, of Casenovia, N.Y.; his sister Jacqueline Hartwell and her husband James of Spofford, N.H.; his sister Amy Caron of Rindge, N.H.; his stepsister Maggie Ramos of Peterborough, N.H.; his nephew Eric Hartwell of Silverthorne, Colo.; his nieces Shayna Hartwell of Burlington, Vt., and Emma and Mia Caron of Rindge, N.H.; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his stepfather David Worcester, and his grandparents Franklin and Helen Irish. His grandmother was always his biggest supporter.

Visiting hours were held on Sunday, Dec. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. According to his wishes, some of his ashes will be scattered and some buried in the spring next to his grandmother at the New Sebago Cemetery.
