Player of the Week: Isabel Scribner

Isabel Scribner

Isabel Scribner

Whether during a practice or at a game, Isabel Scribner is a tireless worker in goal for the Lady Lakers.

“She is constantly striving to improve her knowledge of the game and her skill on the field and in between the pipes,” Lake Region Coach Harvey Toews said. “Isabel has a never-ending positive attitude that spreads to her teammates.”

Isabel turned aside 15 shots in the Lakers season opener against York.

In recognition of her strong work ethic, determination, commitment and good sportsmanship, Isabel is this week’s Boosters and Hancock Lumber “Player of the Week.” Each week, a Lake Region athlete is recognized for his/her dedication (does more than what is asked), work ethic, coachability and academic good standing. Recipients receive a specially-designed t-shirt, sponsored by Hancock Lumber.
