Senior Gabe Lunt of Naples has been selected as the Mason’s Lake Region Vocational Student of the Month for March.

Hobbies: I enjoy disc golf, camping, fishing, anything outdoors.

What program are you in at the Vocational Center? I am in the Construction II program.

What do you like most about your program? I like gaining the real-life skills I learn, which I will take with me the rest of my life.

What are your plans after graduation? I plan to work for American Excavation this summer, then I’m either going to attend SMCC (Southern Maine Community College) for Construction Technologies or I will begin working with a plumber.

What career goal(s) do you have? I would like to work in a stable job that pays well enough for me to live comfortably.

Who or what inspired you to pursue this path? I’d have to say it’s my father because he helped me gain my work ethic and helped shape me into the person I am today.

What advice would you like to give future students? The advice I would give is to pay attention and get at it!
