Phillip W. Carlton, 76

NAPLES — Phillip W. Carlton 76, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, after a long illness with heart disease.

He was the son of the late John and Elsie Carlton, and was the brother of the late Paul Carlton from Beverly, Massachusetts.

He was a graduate of Beverly High School and worked as a Firefighter for the City of Beverly for 30 years. Towards the end of his career he also worked for Beverly in the fire prevention office as a Fire Inspector. He was an Army National Guard Veteran, and was an active member for 50 years in the Masonic Temple Lodge.

Upon retirement, Phil moved to Naples, Maine with his wife Nancy, where they vacationed for many years. He enjoyed spending time driving his antique Chrysler LeBaron with the Uptown Cruizahs Auto Club of Oxford, Maine.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nancy Carlton; along with their two sons, Stephen Carlton and his wife Katie Carlton, and Jeffrey Carlton and his girlfriend Erika Pellerin; and was expecting his first grandson, Logan Carlton in November.
