AUBURN — Paul A. Gallinari, 72, of Bridgton passed away on April 10, 2013, at Androscoggin Hospice Center peacefully with his wife by his side.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1940, the son of Anselmo aka Sam and Olga Gallinari of Bridgton.

Paul graduated from Bridgton High School the class of 1959; joined the Air Force and was Honorably discharged in 1963. Paul worked at Saunders Dowell Mill in Bridgton, Joe Metiver building roads at Sebago Harbor Shores in Naples. He worked for Burnham Brothers and P&K Sand and Gravel in 1970. He started Paul A. Gallinari Excavation Co. in 1971, where he worked until he was forced to retire in 2008 from cancer.

He is survived by four children of the deceased Ann Gallinari Wheaton: Son Paul Mark and wife Penny of Bridgton, Son Joe and wife Arlene of Bridgton, Son Tony and wife Julie of Bridgton and Daughter Debra Gallinari-Dutton of Bridgton; five grandchildren, Paul Allen, Mason, Dominic, Briana and Laura Anne.

I married Judy Newhall Gallinari on April 30, 1989. We worked hard and prayed hard to make for a wonderful life and marriage including three stepchildren, Wanda Ross of Saco, Steve Newhall of Bridgton, and Tammy Newhall of Westbrook.

Graveside services were held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Forest Hills Annex Cemetery on Kansas Road Bridgton.
