Natalie F. Marshall

BUXTON — Natalie Faye Marshall, 68, of Buxton, passed away on Feb. 2, 2011, at her residence.

She was born in Portland on May 30, 1942, the daughter of Herbert and Gene Ann (Linscott) Mayo.

Natalie attended Limington Academy, Hollis High School and was the Limington valedictorian of the first graduating class at Bonny Eagle High School.

Throughout most of her working life, Natalie was employed in the healthcare field and served as a C.N.A., and later a Med-Tech at the Gorham House, Scarborough Terrace, and in home healthcare. With her talent in sewing, Natalie also worked for The Bag Lady, and created samples for sales.

She will always be remembered for her hard work ethic as a divorced single mother raising a family and overcoming the challenges that a single mother in that time had to face.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, traveling, singing and camping in her younger years.

Natalie was a member of the Limington Grange, and a Past Most Excellent Chief in the Pythian Sisters.

She is predeceased by a daughter, Laurie Jean Marshall; and her father, Herbert Mayo.

Natalie is survived by her mother, Gene Ann Mayo of Limington; children, Wanda Emery of Buxton, Herbert Marshall of Hiram and Robert Marshall of Buxton; brothers, Phillip Mayo of Georgia and Michael Mayo of Limington; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A committal service will be announced and held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Cornish. Arrangements are with Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, Buxton.
