LEWISTON — Michael E. Bryer, 55, of North Waterford, died early Thursday morning, Oct. 8, 2015, at the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

He was born on April 9, 1960, in Newport, R.I., and attended local schools. Mike moved to Maine in the early 1990s and continued his work as a carpenter and builder here.

He was joined by Kelly Pike and raised six children in North Waterford, for more than 22 years.

His biggest joy in life was his grandchildren, spending all extra time with them. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, and hosting cookouts for family and friends at camp on Keewaydin Lake. He loved those Yankees, building specialty homes, cooking with Taylor and Faith, watching sports and kitchen dancing.

Michael is survived by the most important people in his life, his grandchildren: Faith Marie, Taylor James, Frank Andrew, Logan Michael, Paul — Colin Patrick, Scarlett Rose, Theia Angeline; children, Mike Jr., Patrick, Alicia, Frank, Shannon and Jeremy. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Georgie.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sat., Oct. 17 at Ernest Pike’s farm, 282 Blackguard Rd., South Waterford. Food, music, family and friends. Dress warmly.
