May Conley

WESTBROOK — May “Charlotte” Conley, 87, of Westbrook, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at the Barron Center after a long illness.

She was born in Westbrook, the daughter of Remi and Myrtle Labrecque. Charlotte worked at the S.D. Warren Paper Co. for many years before retiring. She was a member of the St. Hyacinth Church Choir. She enjoyed camping and belonged to the Good Sam Club, enjoyed knitting and crafts, golfing and bowling. She also wintered in Florida for several years.

She was predeceased by her daughters Janice and Joyce.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Conley of Westbrook; a son, David Springer of Gorham; a stepson, Steven Conley of Baldwin; a sister, Emma Kane of South Portland; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Westbrook, where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment will be at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed at balsiandhayfuneralhome.com
