M’lou (Mary Lucille) Terry passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on April 9, 2024 three days after her 96th birthday.

M’lou lived in Bridgton for over 45 years. Her life encompassed many talents and places, from her beautiful soprano voice featured on television in New York City and in choirs everywhere, to raising goats on an organic farm in
Harrison. She was a quiet, private person who deeply loved her family, her animals, and the gardens and trees she planted and nurtured. Her devotion to the Baha’i Faith gave her strength throughout the ups and downs of her long life.

Predeceased by her husband and one daughter, M’lou leaves three children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren throughout southern Maine and across the country. Precious to so many, she will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, the Bridgton Food Pantry, and MSSPA, all of which she strongly supported.
