GORHAM — Irene Landry Marier, 95, of Gorham, formerly of Westbrook and Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at St. Joseph's in Portland.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 3, 1919. to parents Frederick and Emma (Bouchard) Leblond.

She was an avid reader, and accomplished seamstress. She was skilled at many needle arts.

Irene was predeceased by her first husband Philippe Landry, and by her second husband, Florent Marier.

She leaves behind her brother Frederick Leblond of Portland; sister Sylvia Bolduc of Cumberland; daughters Colette Poliquin of Bath, and Alida Landry of Gorham; sons, Robert Landry of Gorham, Andre Marier of Brossard, PQ, Pierre Marier of Raymond, and Marc Marier of Hong Kong; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. March 20, 2015, at the Basillica of Sts. Peter and Paul. A committal service will follow in the Mausoleum at St. Peter's cemetery, at which time friends and family are welcome to gather until 3:30 p.m. Condolences may be expressed at www.funeralalternatives.net .
