NORWAY — Erma R. Hatch, 90, of Norway and Waterford, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Albany, on Feb. 27, 1923, the daughter of Herbert A. and Edith (Rugg) Rich.

She worked for many years as a shoe worker, also worked at Cornwall Wood Products and Oxford Marketing.

She was a member of the Waterford Grange #479.

Erma loved spending time with her family, cooking, including making fudge, and cakes for all occasions, flowers, going on trips especially to the ocean and Portland Head Light.

She is survived by her children, Linda Hatch and Sandra Bumpus; seven granddaughters, one grandson; 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Vivian I. Hatch in 1961; brother, Alton Rich; half-brother, Henry Damon, half-sister, Beatrice Levesque; and daughter Claudia Hatch Graves.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oxford Hills and Weston Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Route 26, Oxford. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Norway Pine Grove Cemetery in So. Paris.
