WATERFORD — Dwight “Skip” Norton Jr., 64, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, at his home.

He was born Jan. 13, 1956 in Portland, the son of Dwight Sr. and Joan Brown Norton. Skip was a graduate of Falmouth High School. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and handyman all his life.

He is survived by his mother; a brother, David Norton; a sister, Dianne Wiley; five nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Dwight Sr.; and his girlfriend, Pearl Jacobson.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
