LEWISTON — Doris “Dolly” A. Bragdon, 83, of New Gloucester passed away at Central Maine Medical Center on Sept. 9, 2011.

She was born on May 22, 1928, in Casco. She was the daughter of the late James Perley and Bertha M. Bryant.

She graduated from New Gloucester High School in 1946 and was a homemaker. She married Wallace Bragdon Jr. on Aug. 9, 1968. She was a proud member of the Lunn-Hunnewell AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace; her sisters, Dot MacDonald of Portland and Marilyn “Lynn” Bryant of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters; five brothers; and an infant son.

A memorial service was held at the First Congregational Church, 19 Gloucester Hill Road, New Gloucester, Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m.
