Donald E. Harrington Sr.

TOGUS — Donald E. Harrington Sr., 78, of Bridgton, died on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1935.

He served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1956. He was well-liked and loved for his joking manner, and helping out when he could, no matter if he knew you or not. He enjoyed working on cars and small engines. He also loved watching his granddaughters, Mortisha and Latasha Harrington, grow up, and to see his great-granddaughters Mohica Morton (Firecracker), Carrianna Smith (Pudge) and Nataila Villacci (Peeny), whom he would sit and color with and sing to when they were babies.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years; six children; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
