Chris M. Eastman

BROWNFIELD — Chris M. Eastman, 38, of Brownfield died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at his residence.

He was born in Portland, a son of Clayton and Patricia “Welch” Eastman and attended local schools. He had been employed in the logging industry, Bailey Manufacturing in Fryeburg and later, when he had his first stroke, he worked for Green Mountain Rifle Company in Conway N.H.

Chris enjoyed dancing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, hunting, and pulling cattle at the local fairs.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends up to camp. He was a former member of the Lion’s Club.
He is survived by his parents, Clayton and Patricia Eastman of Brownfield; a son, Ty Bryce Eastman of Brownfield; two brothers, Donald and Kevin Eastman, both of Brownfield; one sister Tami Henry of Jackson, N.H.; two nephews and two nieces; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren Street, Fryeburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Irish officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brownfield.
