Brenda C. McAllister

WATERFORD — Brenda C. McAllister, 61, of Waterford, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on June 28, 1952, the daughter of Charles J. and Joanne LaBay Whittemore Jr.

She graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1970 and worked for Norway National from 1970 until 1978, Maine Savings Bank from 1979 to 1980, Canal National Bank from 1980 to 1981, and Bethel Savings from 1981 to 1994, and Norway Savings Bank from 1994 until her retirement earlier this year. She married Dennis C. McAllister on April 14, 1973. He died Feb. 6, 1999.

She is survived by her son, Dustin and his wife Jessica; her grandson, Dennis; a brother, Bradley G. Whittemore and his late wife Martha; two nieces, Claire and Sherry and their families.

Family and friends attended graveside services at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 at Pulpit Rock Cemetery in Waterford. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Waterford Fire Dept.
