Betty Jean E. Millett

WATERFORD — Betty Jean Eaton Millett, 74, of Waterford, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at her home, with her family by her side.

Betty was born in Boston, Mass., on March 29, 1939, the daughter of Fredrick and Georgia Ann Eaton. She graduated from Norway High School, the Class of 1957. Betty married Ralph L. Millett on June 15, 1957. She was a homemaker for many years, taking care of her youngest son and making crafts, which she enjoyed.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ralph; daughter, Donna M. Scribner of Waterford; sons, Russell D. of Waterford and Ray of Naples; five grandchildren; four special great-grandchildren whom she thought the world of; and a sister, Paula A. Strohl of Kentucky.

Betty was predeceased by her son, Rick J.; her parents; and a brother, David Eaton.

A graveside service was held on Monday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m. at Pulpit Rock Cemetery, Waterford. Arrangements are under the care of Oxford Hills Funeral Service, 1037 Main Street, Oxford.
