STANDISH — “Beau” Richard Moffa, 51, of Standish, passed away at Maine Medical Center on Aug. 31, 2012, as a result of complications from a motorcycle accident.

Beau was born Aug. 10, 1961, to Mary Pelfry in Marlborough, Mass.

Beau was a man of many trades and had been employed in a variety of ways over the years. He was a member of the Sebago Church of the Nazarene and would occasionally prepare meals for the Sebago Senior Lunch, which meets there.

Beau loved boating, playing guitar and riding his motorcycle.

Beau was predeceased by his mother, Mary Pelfry.

Beau will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Cassandra Moffa and her mother Joann Scarponi; his longtime companion, Laurie Bradley; his stepson, Dan Wiley; stepdaughter, Kristen Wiley; a grandson, his cousin as well as several other family members.

A celebration of Beau’s life was held on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m., at the Sebago Church of the Nazarene. A reception followed.
