FRYEBURG — Austin Scott Allan Newton, 12, of Fryeburg passed away on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., on June 7, 2007, the son of Scott A. Newton and Kelley J. Dunne Newton. He attended Mollyocket Elementary School. Austin enjoyed fishing, hiking, the ocean and spending time with his friends and his cat. He loved video games; Zelda and Dragons and Wizards. He was a Lego master. Austin was loved by all. 

He is survived by his mother, Kelley; his sister, Cassandra; his brother, Corey; his nephew; his grandmother, Charlotte; Grampie Mike “Hoho”; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father; and his uncle.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren Street, Fryeburg.
