Arlene Hebert

BUXTON — Arlene (Page) Hebert, 88, of Buxton, died peacefully at home on Aug. 5, 2011.

She was born on March 28, 1923, the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Page. She grew up in Hiram, and married Albert Hebert on April 5, 1941. Together, they raised a son, Charles, and three daughters, Dorothy, Beatrice and Sylvia. They moved to Buxton in 1959, where she has lived for the past 52 years.

For 10 years, Arlene was employed by Sebago Moc as a payroll clerk.

She loved baking, gardening, her cat Sadie and spending time with friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert in July 1986; and her brother Stanley Page.

Survivors include her son, Charles Hebert of Hollis; her daughters, Dorothy Rowe of Buxton, Beatrice Wintle of Hollis and Sylvia (Sue) Leavitt of Boothbay; a sister, Florence Kimball of Hiram; a brother, Gordon Page of Woburn, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours were on Tuesday at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Routes 202 and 4A (13 Portland Road), in Buxton (Bar Mills). A graveside service was held on Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery, Plains Road, in Hollis.
