BROWNFIELD — Alice Jeannette Rogers, 79, of Brownfield died on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at Bridgton Hospital.

She was born in Eastport, the daughter Charles and Jenny “Logan” Trynor and was educated in Portland Schools and Fryeburg Academy. She was employed by Fryeburg Academy for 20 years. She was a former member of the Grange and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Rudy Rogers of Brownfield; three daughters, Cherry Rogers of Brownfield, Melanie Lewis of Denmark and Ellen Raynsford of Fryeburg; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Holt Cemetery in Denmark later in the spring. Arrangements are made with Wood Funeral Home, Fryeburg. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.woodfuneralhome.org.
