Linda C. LaBonte

HARRISON — Linda C. LaBonte, 63, of Harrison passed away, along with her mother, Carmen Smith, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 following a tragic car accident in Harrison.

Linda was born April 9, 1949, in Lewiston, the daughter of Richard O. and Carmen (Charest) Smith. She spent most of her childhood in the Lewiston area and was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Jackman, Class of 1967. She also attended St. Regis College in Boston.

She was employed since 1987 as vice president of High Tech Fire Protection in Poland. Linda enjoyed collecting antiques and was co-owner of Aged to Perfection Antiques with her life partner, Irene Finch.

She loved traveling, especially trips to Las Vegas; winter skiing; playing with her grandchildren and her grandniece, Elli; and nurturing all animals. She was also an auto enthusiast.

Linda leaves behind her life partner of 19 years, Irene Finch of Harrison; a daughter, Pamela Paz of Franklin, Wis.; two grandchildren; a brother, Gary Smith of Lewiston; nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel N. Smith; her father, Richard O. Smith; and a nephew.

Visitation was held at The Fortin Group/Plummer & Merrill Funeral Home, Cremation and Monument Services, 217 Turner Street in Auburn, on Saturday, May 5, from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services were held on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
