Joyce Trumble

LEWISTON — Joyce A. Trumble, 67, of Bridgton, died on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Joyce was born on May 18, 1950, in Bridgton, a daughter of Leamon and Frances (Kimball) Trumble. She attended Bridgton schools and graduated from Bridgton High School with the class of 1968. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Home Economics and Early Childhood Education from Farmington Teacher’s College in 1972.

She was a teacher in Fryeburg, director of the Sunshine Daycare Center at Pineland in Pownal, worked at the East End Day Care Center in Portland, and most recently at Renys in Bridgton.

She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, quilting, knitting, and other crafts. She especially loved Fryeburg Fair time with her best friend, Judy Williams.

Joyce is survived by her mother, Frances “Pinky” Trumble of Bridgton; a brother, Michael Trumble and his wife, Elaine of Standish; a sister, Carol Day and her husband, Ralph of Lisbon Falls; a niece, Michele Trumble and her husband, Stanley Grooms of Greensboro, N.C.; and a nephew, Eric Trumble of Seattle, Wash. She was predeceased by her father, Leamon Trumble.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 3rd, at the Forest Hills Annex Cemetery in Bridgton.
