Frances Quinn

CASCO — Frances Jane Quinn, 64, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015, from natural causes.

She was born in Bangor on April 20, 1951, one of seven children of Patrick J. and M. Irene (Ryder) Quinn. Jane attended Cape Elizabeth schools, and was a graduate of Bridgton High School, Class of 1969. She then attended St. Joseph’s College. Jane worked on various jobs before settling in at the Standard Electric Company, where she ultimately became the manager of the Lewiston/Auburn Store. She then went on to handle outside sales for Granite Design before starting work at the Home Depot, where Jane enjoyed kitchen design.

She also enjoyed the ocean, lakes and rivers; along with reading, gardening, family events, boating and lobster bakes. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson Logan. Although not a financially wealthy person, Jane was very generous with what she had and continues to exhibit this spirit of giving as an organ donor.

She is survived by her son Brandon Grant; a grandson; former husband Rick Grant; siblings, Sister Mary Quinn, RSM, Pat Quinn, John Quinn, Cathy Roberts, Reenie Fulton and Connie Quinn; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and many close cousins and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at the Dolby and Dorr Funeral Chapel, 76 State Street, Gorham. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday.
