GORHAM — Victoria Alaire Collier Bridges, a longtime resident of Gorham, passed away on Aug. 4, 2011, at The Inn at Village Square.

She was born on March 29, 1919, in Ashland, the daughter of Joseph Albert and Gladys Adeline Gardner Collier.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Bridges.

She is survived by her children, Alaire B. Riddle of North Windham and Clearwater, Fla., Dean C. Bridges of Raymond, Jo Anne B. Sayward of Gorham and Homosassa Springs, Fla., and Sarah Katharine B. Schiffer of Clearwater, Fla. and Freeport; a sister, Bernice C. Merriman of Mars Hill; many beloved grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Dolby & Dorr Funeral Chapel.
