RAYMOND — Robert L. Fogg of Raymond and Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away at home Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, in Punta Gorda.

He was born March 1, 1942, the son of Roger and Audrey (Turner) Fogg of Pine Point, Scarborough.

He began lobstering at age nine, joined the Navy in 1959, attended Maine Maritime Academy, served on the USS Forrestal (CVA-59), worked at Oakhurst Dairy, became a sea and shore fisheries warden in 1967, and retired as chief of the Maine Marine Patrol in 1989. He then ran his own business, Lakes Region Property Management, and retired in 2003.

He and his wife were deacons of East Raymond Chapel and also of the Alligator Park Chapel. He served as president of the board at Alligator Park, and served on the Mabel B. DeShon Scholarship Fund and the advisory board of Ellsworth Assembly #9 IO Rainbow for Girls. He was a selectman for the Town of Raymond.

He was predeceased by his mother, Audrey; his father, Roger; and his sister, Audrey Anne Lucier.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; daughters, Dianna Martin, Bethany, Clark and Roberta Fogg; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
