Robert Frank

NAPLES — Robert “Bob” C. Frank, 82, of Naples, died in the early morning of Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Yvonne, of 40 years and family.

Bob worked as a welder at Pratt Whitney in East Hartford, Conn., for several years before moving back home to Maine, where he continued to weld at Bath Iron Works in South Portland, and Hamilton and Sons Fab.

In his later years, after retiring, Bob lovingly drove the summer mail boat on Long Lake in Naples.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne and his children, Robert Jr., Dennis, Denise, and Gloria; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Some fond memories of Bob include: him playing the harmonica, his fond crafting and woodworking, and his enjoyment of dancing.

The family of Robert Frank would like to give a special thanks to Beacon Hospice, Gordon Knight, and Deidre Landry for their wonderful services of care that were provided from beginning to end.

Funeral services were performed on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Hall Funeral Home in Casco. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Casco Village Church, 942 Meadow Rd., Casco, ME 04015.
