WESTBROOK — Olive Lorraine Dennison, 86, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at Ledgewood Manor in Windham.

Born on Dec. 11, 1929, in Standish, to Maurice and Vivian Thorne of Standish, she graduated from Standish High School, was married for 38 years to Clifford Dennison, and raised five children.

Olive was a dedicated, loving homemaker and mother all her life. She loved gardening, canning, bingo, flowers, hunting, coloring and laughter. Olive loved nature and autumn colors. She spent many years snowmobiling with the Standish Snowblazers and was active with the Steep Falls Senior Citizens, as well as serving as a Cub Scout Den Mother. Olive delighted all who knew her with her humor, witty comments and generous spirit.

Olive was predeceased by her parents; and her siblings Donald Thorne and Shirley Parkman.

She is survived by her children, Michael Dennison of Hollis, Patrick Dennison of Baldwin, Sherry Garris of Westbrook, Doreen Pinkham of Lisbon and Bonnie LaPointe of Sebago; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
