Mark Buzzell

FRYEBURG — Mark Edward Buzzell, 52, of Fryeburg, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015.

Mark was born on March 1, 1962, in North Conway, N.H. He was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy, where he was a remarkable football player, as were his three sons.

As a lifetime resident in this town, he was the owner and builder of Buzzell Construction Company. He was a very hard worker and was always there to help his children or grandchildren whenever needed. Mark made sure to give all of his children every opportunity they had to have fun in life.

He is survived by three sons, Gregory Buzzell (23), Marcus Buzzell (21), Ryan Buzzell (18); and his daughter, Joelle Buzzell (16). He is also survived by his sister, Deborah McGillivray and husband, Brian of Lakeland, Fla.; his brother, Rick Buzzell and wife, Jackie and their two children, Mackenzie (15), and Tucker (13), all of Lovell; as well as his loving mother, Barbara Buzzell, also of Lovell; and his father, Edward Buzzell and wife Janet of Fryeburg and Florida.

Mark’s love for the game of football continued with his obsession of the New England Patriots. NEVER was he to be disturbed when they were playing. Among a new hobby was his Harley-Davidson to take that Free Ride, and his other passion was spending time with his children.

His newest loves were his two grandchildren, Layla (2), and Greg Jr. (9 months); and their mother, Sadie Paradise.

The family cannot begin to say thank you for the outpouring support of friends, Fryeburg Academy, and the Hannaford Family. They are so gratefully appreciative of their kindness and support.

A gathering of family and friends was held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 9 Warren Street, Fryeburg. A celebration of life will be scheduled this spring.
