LINCOLN — Larry E. Flagg, 68, died on Monday Nov. 9, 2015 at Colonial Health Care in Lincoln after a long illness.

He was born on Dec. 1, 1946, in Lincoln, the son of William and Edith “Neil” Flagg.

Larry was known for his sense of humor and the ability to strike up a conversation with everyone he met. He spent 45 years of his life on the road as a long-haul truck driver and had great stories to share with everyone he met.

When Larry became ill a few years back, he became a resident at Colonial Health Care in Lincoln. There, he quickly became friends with the staff. His zest for life, personality and quick wit made him stand out amongst residents. Just mentioning his name brought a smile to everyone that worked there and knew him.

Larry is survived by four daughters, Cal Lorrain, Melissa Flagg, Lori Flagg and Stephanie Flagg; five sons, Larry Flagg II, Jason Flagg, Sean Flagg, Kyle Flagg and Joshua Flagg; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Lincoln Cemetery. There will be a gathering for family and friends following the service at the Lowell Municipal Building.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Colonial Health Care.
