HARRISON — John Kenneth Emery passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at his residence in Harrison.

He was a loving husband, father and brother. To his grandchildren, he was known as “Pada.” Knowing John was a special blessing to all. He had a unique sense on humor and always had you smiling or laughing. He had a love for hunting and had a wonderful group of friends. He and his brothers always went together as a team.

Johnny resided in Harrison with his loving wife, Franny, of 46 years.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Barry and Rodney; and a niece.

He is survived by his daughters Heidi Emery, Corina Stultz and Nickie Emery; his son, Tony Emery; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother Alan; and four sisters, Betty, Diane, Jean and Sandra. To know John was to love John.

A farewell service will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeburg on Friday, Aug. 8 at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Androscoggin Home and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Ave., Lewiston, ME 04240.
