Jeannie E. (Taylor) Walker, 65

LEBANON, N.H. — Jeannie Ellen (Taylor) Walker, 65 of Lebanon, N.H., passed away unexpectedly at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Dec. 17, 2013, with her family by her side.

Jeannie was born on Jan. 5, 1948 in Portland, the daughter of Albert C. and Marion (Bagster) Taylor. She grew up in Portland as a child and moved to New Hampshire in 1961 when her father was transferred to Hanover.

She graduated from Lebanon High School where she met the love of her life, David F. Walker and they were married 45 years this past October. She was a wonderful wife and mother.

Jeannie had a wide circle of friends, loved to cook, and enjoyed her home and yard, and adventures to the family camp on Clark Pond in Canaan, N.H. Jeannie also loved the ocean and beach at Pine Point in Scarborough, and visited her family in Gorham often, where lobster feeds were held with all the relatives.

Jeannie was employed by HyperTherm as a purchasing agent and purchased inventory all over the world. She was a dedicated employee and always gave 110% to her job and fellow associates.

Jeannie is predeceased by her father, Albert C. Taylor in 2002, and a younger sister, Janet, in 1962.

She is survived by her loving husband, David; a daughter, Heather Rowe; and a grandson of Lebanon, N.H.; her loving mother, Marion Taylor of Gorham; a sister, Julie Dunham Williams of Gorham; a brother, James S. Taylor of Gorham; a sister, Jayne (Taylor) Stenger of Sebago; an aunt and an uncle of Gorham; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Lebanon, N.H.
