Gage Barker

NAPLES — Gage Wayne Barker, infant son of Dylan and Marissa (Jones) Barker of Naples, was born on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at 12:03 in the afternoon. He passed peacefully in his father’s arms at 1:50 p.m. surrounded by loving family.

Gage is greatly missed by his loving parents his grandparents: Hope and Todd Smith of Hebron, Edwin Barker, Roger Jones and Cindy Towne Jones, all of Naples; uncles: Matthew Jones, Jeremy and Tyson Barker, all of Naples; great-grandparents: Richard and Hilda Barker of Casco, and John and Loretta Towne of Windham.

Although devastated by this loss, the family is comforted by the knowledge that Gage was greeted in Heaven and predeceased by his great-grandparents: Roger and Geraldine Jones, Sylvia and Charlie Swanson, Wayne Barker and Sue Blanchard Towne; great-aunt Linda Jones, and infant cousin Gavin Barker.

The family is also extremely grateful for the recovery of Gage’s mother, from nearly fatal medical complications unrelated to her pregnancy.

Memorial services will be held at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Rd., Casco, on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. A benefit will take place on Saturday, Mar. 4, at the American Legion Hall Post 155 in Naples. Contributions will be welcomed by the family in lieu of flowers.
