Dorothy R. Wixon

AUBURN — Dorothy “Jessi” Rose Wixon (Brice), 66, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2012 in Auburn.

She was the daughter of Edward Brice and Kay Matter (Young). She was born July 30, 1945 in Lewiston.

She was a devoted wife and mother, who loved her family and life. She will be missed most by her loyalty to her family and friends, her kindness and for her true, lovable nature. Her smile will be remembered and missed by all. She also loved her native nationality and is now with her late husband, Red Blanket.

She is survived by a sister, Lilly Lee; a son, Kippy Hilliard of Lewiston; two daughters, Heidi Hilliard of Casco and Peggy Sue Hilliard of Augusta; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Frances Jean Page.

There was a family and friends’ gathering held at The Carriage House Café in Livermore on May 5 at 1 p.m., hosted by Michael Weaver and Dorothy’s best friend, Sylvia.
