FRYEBURG — Dorothy L. Gallant, 64, of Fryeburg, died on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Lynn, Mass., a daughter of Emerson and Lena “Eaton” Hill and was educated in local schools. She loved gardening, cooking, and watching the hummingbirds. Dorothy loved to collect Santa Clauses. She enjoyed her woodstove, which provided her with lots of warmth, and especially loved her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Gallant Jr. in 2003 and a sister Grace Craig.

She is survived by three children, Scott, Steven and Paul; four grandchildren; two nephews; and a niece.    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fryeburg Beautification Committee, in care of Jennifer Regan, Town of Fryeburg, 2 Lovewell Pond Road, Fryeburg, ME 04037.
