Bruce S. Cobb, 32

PORTLAND — Bruce Sinclair Cobb, 32, of Portland, died unexpectedly on Dec. 14, 2012.

Bruce was born in Portland, the son of Brenda L. Cobb and Bruce S. Hayes. He graduated from Portland High School. He was a talented artist and especially enjoyed drawing, watching the Sunday football games, working out and spending time with his son Ethan, family and friends.

As a child, he loved karate. Bruce was a hard worker and most recently worked as a laborer. He loved basketball and played in elementary school, high school and the Boys & Girls Club.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Marie Campbell and Larry Cobb; and paternal grandparents, Erma and Thomas Flaherty.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda L. Cobb of Raymond; father, Bruce S. Hayes of Portland; three brothers, Thomas Cobb of Raymond, Brian Cobb of Raymond and Nicholas Hayes of Windham; three sisters, Tia Cobb of Portland, Audreya Sans of Hawaii and Maria Hayes of Portland; his longtime love and mother of his eldest son, Bethany McCoubrey of Westbrook; sons, Ethan Cobb McCoubrey, 12, of Westbrook and Evan Pardeu, 5, of Portland, who he loved more than anything in the world; two nieces and a nephew.

A visiting hour was held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. Burial will be private.
