Beverly A. Ralph, 87

Beverly Ralph

BRIDGTON — Beverly A. Ralph, 87, of Casco, formerly a longtime resident of Bridgton and Lynn, Mass., passed away peacefully on July 1, 2018.

Born May 2, 1931, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of the late G. Raymond and Evelyn A. Hanson, she was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. She worked for Sears Roebuck Credit Center in Lynn and Salem as a Personnel Specialist, retiring after 25 years.

Beverly was predeceased in 2009, by her husband of 59 years, Frank W. Ralph. She spent her childhood summers on Long Lake in Naples, continuing that tradition with her own children, at her parents’ camp on Salmon Point, Long Lake, in Bridgton. Beverly and Frank eventually retired in the Bridgton and Naples area. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be remembered for the love she gave us all, and for those treasured poems she wrote to family, friends and co-workers, and never forgetting a card for all occasions.

Beverly is survived by her three children, Bruce Ralph and his wife, Laurie of No. Berwick, Denise Kearns and her husband, Gregory, of No. Waterboro, and Diane Kiriaji and her husband, Charles of Naples. Beverly also leaves her seven grandchildren, Michael Ralph, Jennifer Hancock, Kimberly Tapley, Matthew Kearns, Amanda Moore, Shawna Kearns and Rebecca Bickford; and 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her terribly. Beverly was predeceased just shy of three short months ago by her only sibling and loving sister, Lorraine Lorenzen; and is survived by her two nieces, Gail Sotrines of Fla., and Georgia Iudiciani of Lynn, Mass. Beverly and Lorraine shared all those summers on Salmon Point together with their children, who will forever have decades of cherished summer memories.

Beverly’s funeral will be held on Friday, July 6, at 12:00 noon, at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, Mass. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, Mass. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the funeral on Friday at the funeral home.
