LIMERICK — Barbara Irene Dyer, 75, of Limerick, passed away on Aug. 2, 2011, surrounded by her loving husband and four sons.

She was born in New Bedford, Mass., on July 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Warren and Muriel (Merry) Thompson. She attended Beech Ridge and Dunstan Schools, and graduated from Scarborough High School in the Class of 1953. Barbara went on to attend classes at the Gorham State Teacher’s College.
