NAPLES — Arthur Sherburne Kimball, 90, of Naples died Monday morning, Aug. 30, 2010 at Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Wells, a son of Carl and Mildreth Kimball. Arthur served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. For many years, he was employed by W.L. Blake Co. in Portland, retiring in 1984. Arthur loved his family, friends, his special cat Misty as well as the State of Maine.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy of Naples; two sons, Alan of Coventry, Conn. and Brian of Henniker, N.H.; his daughter Jane of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; two grandsons; his granddaughter; his great grandson; and his sister Lydia Carter of Alfred.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at the North Sebago United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the North Sebago United Methodist Church, 820 Sebago Road, Sebago, ME 04029.
