Ann Carter, 74

DOVER, N.H. — Ann Carter, formerly of Raymond, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at St. Anne’s Rehabilitation Center in Dover, N.H.

Born Dec. 25, 1943, in Rhode Island to the late Gerard and Bertha (Pratt) Gagnon, Ann was predeceased by her husband James Carter, and her brother Anthony and his wife Doris.

Ann was a bus driver for Lakes Regional School for many years, and also worked for the Continental Shoe in Portsmouth, N.H.

She leaves behind her brother, Henry Gagnon of Milton, N.H.; sister, Dorothy O’Connell of Naples; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the R.M. Edgerly & Sons Funeral Home, 86th South Main Street, Rochester, N.H. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St. Mary’s Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester. Burial arrangements will take place in the spring at Edes Cemetery in Naples.
